Cristiano Ronaldo colocou a seleção portuguesa de futebol no Mundial de futebol de 2014, ao marcar os três golos da vitória na Suécia (3-2), em encontro da segunda mão do "play-off" europeu.

O "capitão" luso inaugurou o marcador, aos 50 minutos, e faturou ainda aos 77 e 79, os dois últimos depois de um "bis" de Zlatan Ibrahimovic, aos 68 e 72, dar a volta ao resultado e colocar os escandinavos a um tento do apuramento.

A seleção lusa está, assim, pela sexta vez na sua história, e quarta consecutiva, na fase final do Mundial, cuja edição de 2014 se realiza no Brasil, de 12 de junho a 13 de julho.

Ronaldo iguala Pauleta

Cristiano Ronaldo igualou Pauleta como o melhor marcador da história da seleção portuguesa de futebol, ao conseguir um "hat-trick" na Suécia, na segunda mão do "play-off" europeu de acesso ao Mundial de 2014.

O jogador do Real Madrid inaugurou o marcador aos 50 minutos e, depois de Zlatan Ibrahimovic "bisar" para os suecos (68 e 72), apontou mais dois tentos, aos 77 e 79, passando a contar os mesmos 47 tentos do jogador açoriano.

O "7" luso já havia sido o autor do único golo do encontro realizado na sexta-feira, no Estádio da Luz, em Lisboa, onde Portugal venceu por 1-0.
